About Josh

My work is the result of living with pain — from migraines that started as a child, to blowing out my lower back in my early 20s — for much of my early life. I've spent the last three decades studying movement and breathing patterns, vestibular balance and posture, joint stability and mobility, and thousands of hours of deep yogic work to find answers.

I've transformed my daily life from being worried about that first step out of bed in the morning, and whether I'd ever be able to stand up straight again, or being hospitalized for migraines — to living a mostly painless, and yes, joyful life. My pain taught me a new way to have a relationship with my injuries, stress, trauma, and negative emotions, and I'm grateful for these lessons.

I now can play with my children and run ultramarathons without worry. I haven’t had a migraine in since 2013 and I have confidence that if pain ever does arrive, I know how to listen to it and resolve it.
